Q: How easy is it to remove after installing with peel and stick adhesive. A: The planks adhere permanently to the wall. Wall surface will have damage if planks are removed after install using peel and stick. Another option is to use pin nails for installation for less damage to wall surface if planks are removed.
Q: Can this product be used in a laundry room, basement or garage where there is no climate control with use of air conditioning or heat? A: Planks that are installed in non climate-controlled environments may want to use pin nails for a more secured install in cold and heat conditions.
Q: Are the shiplap planks water-resistant? A: The shiplap planks repeal water for the wood surfaces are three part sprayed with base sealer primer and two applications finish color coat paint. Shiplap planks can absorb water and become damaged if exposed to excessive water. If installed in excessive moist areas, the moisture would cause the peel and stick adhesive to possibly fail. *Install option is to use pin nails in those areas of moisture.
